'Teen Mom' Reunion Special

The final season of the first Teen Mom season ended on Aug 28. That did not stop MTV from airing the reunion specials with Dr. Drew the next two Tuesdays after.

The first reunion episode featured Farrah Abraham and Catelynn Lowell.

Abraham talked to Dr. Drew about her usual concerns with her mother. As many fans should know, Abraham’s mother was sent to jail because she hit her. They still have issues years later, as it would be known.

Lowell and her fiancé, Tyler Baltierra have finally set a date for their wedding! Long awaited after four years fans have known them, they tied the knot and set a date. Congratulations.

As for the second episode, it featured Maci Bookout and her break up with Kyle King. Turns out after this episode was taped, they ended up being back together and Ryan Edwards (Bookout’s son Bentley’s father) tweeted he is happy about it.

It seems as though Bookout and Edwards have sorted out as much as they could for their son Bentley.

The final teen mom, Amber Portwood was not able to be at the reunion due to a “probation violation”. Portwood gave a letter to Dr. Drew which part of it read, “As for Gary, I know he is a good dad. I hope one day we can have a good relationship… some decisions change your whole life… I want to show everybody I can do it and get my family back in order.”

Saying farewell to these four teen moms is hard for fans, but knowing MTV, there is sure to be year reunions down the road.
