'The Lizzie Bennet Diaries' - 'Revelations' (Video)

By Ariel Campos,
Lizzie shows us what happened with Darcy

To say it's the episode we've all been waiting for would be a serious understatement.

The last episode left us with a cliffhanger: Charlotte left to go get what was supposed to be the Chinese food deliverer at the door, but instead, a wild Darcy appeared.

Lizzie opened the episode aware of the cliffhanger she left us with, and decided to deflect with questions about the well-being of the audience. But once that introductory bologna was finished, we were able to go back and see what happened.

...And cue possibly the best line in the whole series: "I thought you were Chinese." It would of course important to get a bit of awkward in there, so why not get it out of the way at the beginning?

What followed was a semi in depth conversation that could be summed up with the hashtag #confusion. Darcy was confused about what Lizzie said in her videos. Were they really not friends? And Lizzie was confused about why she hadn't heard from him since she'd left Pemberley in such as rush. Was he over it?

Lizzie did her best to explain the mess from her end, but just when Darcy was about to be left thinking Lizzie just wanted to be friends, she decided to explain with more than just words. Thus, the moment 94 plus webisodes in the making finally happened.

"Does that clarify things for you?" she asks.

Personally, I just happy that the kiss didn't happen off screen, only allowing for a close up of their torsos, as I and many other commenters speculated. This is how many important (and juicy) parts of the storyline have happened, and although the tactic has made watching more addicting, I think us fans deserved a seat up front and center for this plot development.

The only thing that made me sad about this episode was how now there are only two left! I for one don't know what I'm going to do after it's concluded, but I can certainly speculate at what co-creators Hank Green and Bernie Su are going to do, and I hope it's Sense and Sensibility!
