Darling Parade releases 'Battle Scars & Broken Hearts' (Deluxe Edition)

In 2007, Darling Parade came together in Nashville and is now breaking into the mainstream alternative rock scene with their first full length album, Battle Scars & Broken Hearts. The whole album contains the theme of overcoming struggles both personally and externally.

Darling Parade, consists of Kristin Kearns, who provides lead vocals and guitar, Nate McCoy also on guitar and vocals, Dustin McCoy, bass and vocals and Casey Conrad on drums.

MTV named Darling Parade one of the artists to watch in 2013 and the band did not disappoint.

Darling Parade first came into the mainstream with their single "Ghosts" in 2013. The album picks up where the mainstream single left off and the album continues to take pop/rock music in a more modern, fresh style.

The album takes the time to really build from the first track to the last track and highlights the strong female tone that Kearns puts first on every single.

The instruments compliment the vocals very well but don't over power the song. Darling Parade is finding a place in the hear of pop/rock and fans are responding.

Stand out tracks on the album include "When It's Over," "Summer" and "With You."

This is the first album from Darling Parade and is only just the start. With their hit single, "Ghosts" doing well on the charts it seems that this success will carry over into 2014.
