Reginald Cyntje has released his latest album, Love. Cyntie, who was born on the island of Dominica and was raised on St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands, has been surrounded by strong musical influences from early on.
A trombonist, he has combined his early musical influences with famous a style that is more known for being popular in the American music industry.
Back in 2011, Cyntie released his first album, Freedom’s Children: The Celebration. Ever since then, fans have been looking forward to this follow up album.
Love is a thoughtful and passionate album from start to finish. It not only embodies the variety of musical influences that has helped to make Cyntie into the musician he is today but it also feels like a lot of passion and spirit was poured into Love.
The songs have very simple titles and let the audience really focus and dive into the music that is being presented. The sounds of reggae and other African influences can be heard in every track. This helps to bring out the unique musical flavor that is so heavily featured this album.
Love is well produced and thought through on every level. This album helps to move Cyntie into the mainstream and helps to spread his music forward, which is really about spreading love and connecting with his fans.
