Molly Roth’s single “Pin Me Up” has an upbeat sound as the song plays into the story of being a pin up model, with lyrics taking on classic phrases such as “Good Golly Miss Molly” and it infuses the feeling of previous eras of time.

The song is classic and has an old-time feel with references to Bettie Page, a famous pin up model.

"Pin Me Up" has a nice pop beat, matching the rhythm and beat of the instrumentation, as well as Roth’s vocals. Roth has been in the music industry for a while and this song shows off a classic atmosphere, with beautiful vocals and a well-rounded sound. Not only is Roth talented as a vocalist, but she has also been playing the piano since age six and she was featured in a documentary entitled My Musical Life.

Her style of music consists of a blend of pop, soul, and electronic, and it’s easy to hear not only in vocals and the instruments, but also through the lyrics. The song has an attention-getting rhythm and Roth’s voice is soulful and sweet as she sings in perfect harmony with the music.

According to her Facebook page, Roth has been working on a new EP, which is due out in the winter of this year, and if it is anything like her single for “Pin Me Up,” then it is sure to have the classic, soulful elements that made up the setting for her music.

You can find her single on iTunes today.
