Album review: 'Follow the Freedom' by Bohème

Bohème, the moniker for the artist previously known as akaCassidy, has released an epic album that will skyrocket her career as a solo artist. Follow the Freedom is an amazingly upbeat album.

Cassidy was the lead singer and songwriter for the band Antigone Rising. She has toured with the Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, Dave Matthews, and Rob Thomas. In no time at all, I can see her becoming just as popular as the artists she has toured with.

Her style is completely her own. However, some of her songs remind the listener of Natasha Bedingfield, lyrics-wise. Bohème’s songs are completely addicting. I am definitely a junkie after listening to the first track named “Follow the Freedom.”

Any track on this album can suit any mood you are feeling that day. This album will make you chronically optimistic, especially the track “Everything Sunshine.”

This album definitely has been one of my favorites to review. We can expect to hear a lot of this girl within the coming months. Bohème is scheduled to appear with her band on Fox’s Good Day New York on November 1, 2011, and ABC News Now on November 7, 2011.
