Buffalo Clover is a roots, soul and rock and roll band out of Nashville,Tennessee. Their genre crossing style is led by vocalist Margo Price. Though original, the sound is at the same time familiar with country, folk and rock undertones.
Their most recent album, Low Down Time, also comes in a vinyl version to embrace the retro feel the group evokes.
The band was formed in 2008 by Price and her husband and co-writer Jeremy Ivey. The band’s talent also includes guitar and banjo player Matt Gardner and bass player Jason White.
The first track “Can’t Stand Still” kicks things off with a catchy, upbeat tune. The vocals are by Price, as most of the vocals on this 10-track album are. Some tracks like “Good Man” and “Oh Well” are a little more bluesy and others are a little more country, but all have riffs that make the songs memorable.
