All the Gory Details

Last November's new CD "All the Gory Details" is a marvelous new slow rock compilation. The main subject of the songs is love. They seem to hit on the obsessiveness of relationships and love or being in love. The vocals complement the instrumentals well.

Last November is made up of Luke Pilgrim on guitar and vocals, Jimmy Bradley on bass and vocals and Taylor Woodruff on drums and vocals. Recently, this Georgia born band has expanded their fan base and they are trying to make their way through the South East.

They mix the sounds of alternative rock, soft rock and a little bit of metal. They start each song somewhat slow and usually end up with a faster pace by the chorus. The lyrics could be considered somewhat angsty or emo, but I think they are right up there with some of the best artists in these genres. I would recommend this CD to teenage rock fans who like obsession type songs.
