Kris Jenner is the mastermind behind the Kardashian Empire and her business savvy comes from a combination of her upbringing and entrepreneurial talent. Jenner was raised by a family of self-employed and successful business owners that mentored her in the ability to make dreams a reality. All things Kardashian chronicles Jenner's early life in San Diego and her young marriage to the late Robert Kardashian, Sr. and remarriage to Olympic star Bruce Jenner.
Jenner was only 18 when she met the 30 year old Kardashian. At the time she was a flight attendant for American Airlines but already had dreams of a large family. Jenner was only 21 when she married Kardashian and quickly became a mother to four children. Jenner also shares the affair that ended her marriage to the famous O.J. attorney and her friendship with Nicole Brown Simpson. The majority of the book is dedicated to Jenner and Simpson's friendship leading up to the death of Nicole.
Jenner's friendship with her ex-husband was ruptured when he defended O.J. after Nicole was murdered. The book also delves into Jenner's reasons for doubting O.J.'s innocence and her knowledge of the domestic abuse that Nicole suffered. This is probably the most interesting read on the book as Jenner's observations of the relationship lend credibility to O.J.'s guilt.
The later chapters are devoted to Jenner's masterful creation of an empire with her daughters and her new life with Bruce Jenner after their marriage. It's clear that Bruce is the love of her life but she is grateful for the kids she had with Robert. It's also clear that she would have been unable to create the Kardashian brand without the contacts and connections she made through her first marriage to Robert Kardashian, Sr.
