Aphrodite, Minogue's eleventh studio release, is a trip into the past paying homage to the period when dancing on the dance floor was the place to be, and this is exactly where the updated sounds of past disco rhythms found here directs the listener. Continuous synth beats pulsating with a mellow consistency throughout the whole release, without interruption of any mushy ballads, works so as not to disturb any pleasured listening equilibrium. Stand out tracks "Closer," "Put Your Hands Up (If You Feel Love)," and "Too Much" are shoo-ins for upcoming singles. Other tracks include "Aphrodite," "Get Outta My Way," "Everything Is Beautiful," "Illusion," "Better than Today," "Cupid Boy," "Looking for an Angel," "Can't Beat the Feeling," and lead single "All the Lovers."
