Ali revealed at the start of Tuesday nights Biggest Loser that it’s makeover week. All the contestants were overly excited to cut their hair, put on some make-up and dress in new up-to-date clothes. Now they finally get a chance to reveal to their family and friends how amazing they look and how hard they worked for the last couple of months.
Ken Pavis and a group of professional stylists transformed the player’s appearance into something unimaginable. People magazine conducted a photo shoot for the players. The photos will be featured in an upcoming issue of People.
The players revealed their new sexy look by walking in a runway show. All contestants were wearing Warriors in Pink clothing line to support breast cancer awareness. The proceeds from the show went to the Susan G. Komen foundation.
The contestant’s smiles reflected how they were all feeling on the outside as well as the inside. Emotions were running high as the players saw their loved ones for the first time in nearly three months. Unsurprisingly, Ada’s family did not come to show her the love and support she deserves. However, there was one friend who came to support the new and improved Ada.
It wasn’t long before the first challenge was underway. The contestants had to climb up approximately 30 flights of stairs which is worth 5 points or the contestants can choose to take the trolley which is only worth 1 point. Winner of the challenge wins a 2011 Ford Edge. Ada’s competitive nature was in gear for the entire challenge up until the end.
Ada, along with Brendan who was right behind her, had a change of heart and let Patrick win the new car because of his unfortunate situation of being unemployed. Elizabeth was extremely disappointed that she was the only person who did not complete the challenge.
At the last chance workout, Frado was Jillian’s main target and Elizabeth managed to finish her challenge on the stair master. Lisa found her inner strength to work harder during her workouts and finally dropped her “I want to go home” attitude.
At this weeks weigh-in, Patrick broke the 100 pound barrier and Elizabeth made her way under 200 pounds. Ada’s self confidence is accruing and shockingly, Lisa did not lose any weight this week.
She had a zero percent weight loss that put her in the bottom two with Frado who only lost 4 pounds this week. In the end, Lisa was chosen to continue her weight loss journey at home.
