For the cowboys and cowgirls in the old fashion Western bars, Compadre Records' new compilation CD, Brewed in Texas, Volume 2, is the perfect drinking buddy. Straight from the Lone Star state itself, this disc offers up 20 shots of pure country drinking songs, with performances by everyone from Ray Willie Hubbard to The Lost Trailers. Although not particularly a country fan, this would be the CD I would pull out if I found myself one leg up on the bar stool in the heart of Texas. My personal favorite on the CD has to be "I Say When I Drink What I Think When I'm Sober" by Roger Creager & Radney Foster. So order on up another double from the bartender and pull up Brewed in Texas, Volume 2.
