Broken Restored Loved: CBC Live

Broken Restored Loved: CBC Live was launched by Community Bible Church’s (CBC) worship leader, Josh Lopez. Lopez, joined by the church’s worship team, worked together on the musical worship project to inspire listeners through song and to spread the love of God.

Broken Restored Loved features 14 tracks and each tells the story of a journey through brokenness and how God’s love can restore anything. Josh Lopez found motivation through times of struggle and hardship and he turned to music to share his experiences and how he was able to overcome them through the love of God.

Each track on the album is a live performance, which provides an intimate and unique listening experience. If you close your eyes and listen to the words being sung, you feel as though you are right there with the members of CBC. The vocals are further enhanced by the Community Bible Church’s choir and the worship team who have an almost angelic presence.

Broken Restored Loved is heavily influenced by God’s love but I don’t believe you have to be religious to be touched by these songs of worship. I don’t listen to worship music and still found myself caught up in the lyrics and how inspirational they were. The album includes a variety of up-tempo and slower songs. I enjoyed listening to the slower songs because of their calming melodies..

Josh Lopez and the members of CBC share a very motivational message with this album. I encourage those who favor songs of worship to listen for themselves to enjoy these musical stories about restoration.
