C is For Construction

This alphabet book about trucks will definitely be loved by young boys and by the many girls interested in things that go. The full page photographs are colorful, eye catching and large enough to show off the details. The text is a little advanced, suited for the older reader. There are vocabulary words which will need explanation, such as; asphalt,diesel, excavator and embankment. The younger child will enjoy the pictures and learning the names of each truck, as my class of four year olds did.

From Articulated Truck and Bulldozer, to Yellow and Zone, this book gives a lot of information from A to Z, for the curious child. C is for Construction is appropriate for ages four through eight and will be a book that can grow with the child and understood on many levels.
