‘The Color Spectrum’ by The Dear Hunter

For the perfect blend of ambient, progressive, experimental and indie rock music, check out the new album out by The Dear Hunter. The new CD titled, The Color Spectrum, dropped June 14.

With this release, the indie band has now put out three EPs and four full-length albums, and they just keep getting better. Seriously, these guys are awesome.

This Boston based band hits you with a wide variety of instrumentation in The Color Spectrum. This shouldn’t come as a surprise, though, since The Dear Hunter is known for being very versatile.

When you get the album, listen to the first track, “Filth and Squalor” and then jump to the end and play, “Fall and Flee.” You’ll see what I’m taking about as you are hit with some huge indie rock on the first one and then put into instant relaxation on the last.

From start to finish, you’ll love it.
