Disaster Movie

Disaster Movie is a movie made by the same people who created the "Scary Movie" franchise. It follows in the same tradition as the more famous franchise, parodying those in the public eye.

In the film, Will (played by Matt Lanter) has to try and avert the apocalypse through whatever means necessary. The film takes shots at people from Miley Cyrus to Amy Winehouse. Movies being parodied include No Country for Old Men and Superbad.

This film's one redeeming quality was that it was all encompassing in who and what it targeted for satire. There was no group spared in this film, and each barb was well planned and well executed.

The plot of this film was almost non-existent. It jumped back and forth too much and was simply way too hard to follow. This movie was only marginally funny because the plot was basically unintelligible.

I would not recommend this film to anyone who wants a laugh. If you enjoy satire and parodying of today's big stars, then Disaster Movie is for you.
