R&B singer Chris Brown’s fourth album, F.A.M.E., hit stores everywhere in the U.S. on March 22. So, how was it?
Well, I can say that I personally enjoyed the album. One of the major things that I enjoyed about this album is the different variety of songs that Chris provides to his fans, from straight R&B like “No BS” to the upbeat techno sound of “Beautiful People.” We are provided with a well-rounded album.
Of course, the album starts off with “Deuces,” which I feel was the strong song that put Chris back on top after his 2009 domestic violence incident. Then, it goes into a new song called “Up To You.” The love song is followed by two No. 1 singles, “No BS” and “Look At Me Now,” which features Busta Rhymes and Lil Wayne.
The next song, “She Ain’t You,” features a beat sampled off of SWV’s “Right Here (Human Nature Mix)” and talks about how a current girlfriend just isn’t as good as the ex.
The next two songs, “Say It With Me” and “Yeah 3x,” give you a techno vibe. The rest of the album goes back and forth like that, from R&B to techno.
And, of course, the album ends with Chris’s latest single, “Beautiful People,” for which there is a music video with a vast assortment of high-profile stars.
If you ask me, F.A.M.E. stands for “Fans Are My Everything” because this album is strictly for the fans.
So, if you don’t already have it, be sure to pick up F.A.M.E. today! And be sure to check out Chris’s new music video for “Beautiful People.”
