Field Trip

A couple days ago, I had to make a 45-minute drive to the doctors for my sister. I was not to please with this arrangement.

I love my sister, but I can never get her to stop complaining about every little thing in the car. To counter this problem, I decided to download the Recess Monkey new album, "Field Trip," onto my MP3 player. Thank you, Recess Monkey.

Their album is pretty a much guaranteed to be a sensation for children everywhere. Most of their tracks are currently consisted of sing-a-longs and songs that can truly have a connection with preschool kids of all ages and backgrounds.

The three Seattle elementary school teachers children music band consists of guitarist Drew Holloway, Jack Forman on bass and keyboard and Daron Henry on drums. This band have a great understanding of their child base audience by having songs like a like a child's favorite class trip to a "Marshmallow Farm" or a sing-a-long of childhood's past times called "Fort."

One of the songs that my sister and I tended to really like was "New Shoes" and "Hot Chocolate." "New Shoes" brought back so many memories of the feelings that I had when my mom told me she was going to buy me some new shoes while "Hot Chocolate" made my sister sing and dance in the back seat of my car and constantly asking if she was going to have some hot coco that night.

To sum things up, the Recess Monkey's album should probably be placed on heavy rotation for kids when ever you make a trip to the store or down to the beach.
