Things can't get much better for jazz fans. With a slew of quality jazz albums being released over the last year, jazz seems to be the "It" sensation once again. And following on the heels of this is the release of McCoy Tyner's Fly with the Wind. A vocally lacking but musically rich album of jazz and sweeping soundtrack inspired music, Fly with the Wind doesn't need lyrics or words to express passion for the genre and idea of jazz. Somewhere between the endearing "Peanuts" theme song and sweeping soundtrack overtures, lies the complexity and spirit of Fly with the Wind.
