FutureSex/LoveSounds
One thing can be said for sure: Justin Timberlake can now be taken seriously as a solo artist. With the release of FutureSex/LoveSounds, those who had never heard of N’Sync wouldn't think he used to be a member of a boy band. It's almost hard to look at Justin Timberlake now with the same image perceived from the boy band. FutureSex/LoveSounds presents listeners with the product of Timberlake's newest experiment.
This time around, Timberlake strays from his default pop/dance music. Instead, he goes toward what appears to be a mix of R&B, hip-hop, disco, along with a vintage feel. Many had even gone as far as accusing him of imitating Michael Jackson and Prince. This new CD contains an interesting medley, to say the least. Fans should proceed to Timberlake's newest work with caution...the change is not something all fans may appreciate.
While some of the hits aren't as good as Justin Timberlake fans may like, the CD still contains a couple good sounds that outweigh the mediocre ones. He has many songs with great beats and rhythm easy to dance to. Songs like "Sexy Back," "My Love," "FutureSex/LoveSounds," as well as others, make the CD worth listening to.
Overall, Justin Timberlake provides listeners with something most wouldn't expect. However, the result is surprisingly decent. FutureSex/LoveSounds certainly brings a change that many fans will enjoy. It also shows that Timberlake has moved far beyond his boy band past as a current solo artist.
