Ames True Temper has the cutest little cart which folds up for storing, and opens up to carry whatever is necessary. It's basically a metal frame with two wheels with a folding canvas center. The canvas center also can act as a bag to be lifted out and loaded.
It can be a useful place to keep all of the gardening tools. Why go from the storage box to the cart to the garden? Just keep them in the cart.
Ames also has a little gardening hose that comes with Microban anti-microbial protection. Who knows where the regular garden hoses have been, but with this hose, you can fill a kid's pool without any fears. Now my fianc? doesn't want to do anything with the regular hose or I might get her wet with "tainted water."
Ames, also has Ergonomic Pruners, which has this smart little lever for easier use. Instead of regular pruners which use the small, pinky fingers, this uses the levers to make cutting easier.
We also got our hands on the Weed Hound by Hound Dog products. The simplest and best way I've ever found to remove weeds. You stand over the weed, step on the weed hound and it pushes into the ground, with your body weight and pulls the weed right out. Great stuff!
Now that the garden is in order, get a Mosquito Inhibitor to prevent the mosquitoes from attacking. What I love about this is, it has a gentle yellow glow from a solar powered light, and under that is a light fan which blows the material around. It's easy to set up, requires no power, and you just get the new repellant products every so often.
Spray-n-go is a great device for spreading insect repellant, Miracle-Grow or whatever. Basically, it's a big canister, resembling a thermos that can be pumped with air. The air pressure pushes the water out, nearly as strong as a hose. What's great about it, is it's much easier than dragging a hose everywhere.
Also, you can easily mix up what you like. For example, I put in my hot peppers and now a pepper spray/insect repellant is ready.
