Great Jazz. This CD has got it. Cyrus is definitely no amateur. You can feel he has years of experience and expertise with every note. He started his musical career at the tender age of six playing the piano in church. He soon studied classical which later landed him as a sideman for many including Wynton Marsalis and others. He later released his first solo album in 1991, and many afterwards. He now tours and plays at several festivals, concerts, and clubs. His style is sophisticated yet soothing and relaxing. He isn't too jumpy and all over the place but yet mellow and entertaining. He has adapted his music to fit the mood and atmosphere and this allows him to create the music that we hear and enjoy. This is a well put together Jazz Cd, sultry, sexy, yet, calm and endearing.
