G.H. Cretors Popped Corn - Chicago Mix

The Super Bowl is now just days away, but you still have time to pick up that last second snack for your party. Popcorn has been in the Cretors family for 126 years, dating back to when Charles Cretors invented the commercial popcorn machine in 1885. Now, his great-great-great granddaughter Claire and her mom Phyllis, are changing the popcorn game again with a new lineup of popped corn – G.H. Cretors, including a new flavor: the Chicago Mix.

Cretors makes the mix using the same classic Carmel Corn that is used for the basis for Cretors’ other flavors. The popped corn is mixed the Chicago way, using the rich and creamy Aged Cheddar Cheese Corn combined with the Carmel Corn to provide a unique mix of sweet and salty tastes. This Chicago special is available to everyone at natural food stores and select mainstream markets across the country so you don’t even have to come to Chicago to experience its great taste.

The Carmel Corn is made by hand in copper kettles using Can sugar, brown rice maple syrup and real butter mixed, then stirred by hand to give it that rich and delicious flavor and crunch. The Cheddar Corn mixes real cheddar cheese with locally grown non-GMOair-popped popcorn. Each bag presents a two-cheese to one-caramel ratio.

The Chicago Mix is all natural, just like all of Cretors’ products. The company uses Brown Rice Syrup, natural sweeteners and fresh creamery butter. There are no artificial flavors, artificial colors and gluten ingredients.

If you are not up for a sweet and salty mix, Just the Cheese Corn, made with real cheddar cheese, and Just the Caramel Corn are available.
