The music television cast of Glee is back with a new music compilation filled with a few new surprises.

The new soundtrack, Glee: The Music, Volume 5, focuses on music from the show's second season and now fifth volume, and maintains for most part the formula of covering past and present hit singles featured in the current period of the televised program.

Michael Jackson's "Thriller" and " "P.Y.T.," Prince's "Kiss," Glitter/Joan Jett’s "Do You Wanna Touch Me," The Human League's "Don't You Want Me," The Zombies' "She Not There," Queen’s “Fat Bottomed Girls," and Fleetwood Mac's "Landslide," are classic tracks featured.

Popular new songs on the album are Justin Bieber's "Baby," Katy Perry's "Firework," Lady Antebellum's "Need You Now," and My Chemical Romance's "Sing." Also, in what may be a sign of things to come, the soundtrack takes a new direction, and concludes two new and original tracks: "Get It Right" and "Loser Like Me."

Whatever may be in the works for future Glee music volumes, will be sure to always end on a high note.
