Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2

Worth the wait

The long-awaited Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2 is now in theaters, and I agree with the majority that this finale to J. K. Rowling's epic coming of age story of wizardry proved to be worth the wait.

Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint reprise their respective roles as Harry and his friends Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley for the eighth time in 10 years. By this time, they have become as endearing a trio as Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia and Han Solo.

Picking up where Part 1 left off, they are seeking out the remaining Horcruxes in order to destroy the evil Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes).
The entire cast is great, but the scene-stealing trophy must go to Alan Rickman, who makes the intimidating Snape sympathetic.

Like Return of the Jedi (1983) and The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2003), this film assumes you have seen (and/or read) its predecessors. If you are one of the few that haven’t, this wonderful finale should entice you to get started.
