Have You Seen My Potty?

A little girl's potty gets stolen from her.

A book to inspire all those being potty-trained is Mij Kelly's Have You Seen My Potty? Bright and colorful, this fun tale tells the story of a little girl named Suzy Sue with something very important to do. With catchy rhyming, this book makes a great read aloud.

Little Suzy Sue was about to sit down on her potty (outside for some reason) to do something important-something that she happened to do everyday-when someone meanly snatched her potty out from under her. It was a terrible trick, but it turns out the cow on the farm needed to poo. In fact, the sheep and horse both needed to, too.

Meanwhile, little Suzy Sue really has to go and is running around frantically trying to find her potty. Suzy Sue confronted the cow without noticing the little red seat he was sitting on. However, the cow had no idea what a 'potty' was, and besides, he was busy. Meanwhile, the other farm animals are telling the cow to hurry because they need to use the 'poo pot.'

Suzy Sue asks the horse next, also not noticing the little red seat he was sitting on, but he, too, did not know what she was talking about. Poor Suzy Sue really had that something important to do; will she ever get her potty back? And will the animals realize what she was talking about?

Have You Seen My Potty? is silly and funny and potentially inspiring to children being potty-trained. After all, if even farm animals are fighting over the potty, wouldn't you love to use it too?
