Highway Run

Highway Run, by the Charlie Wheeler Band, consists of tracks that are put together very well. The musicianship is excellent and the riffs are good hooks to get people interested in the songs. Half of the album has a country rock mixed with blues feel, with lyrics that weave stories. There are two tracks which stand out against the other three, one because it has this acoustic riff in the beginning and continues on with a somewhat sticky feel, added to the type of music on the other tracks, and the other track that stands out is different from the type of music on the rest of the album.
