Jim Brickman, a skilled pianist, has released six gold and platinum selling CDs. His most recent album is Home.

The album features Brickman’s talented piano-playing skills combined with the guitar, bass and fiddle on 18 tracks, including four bonus tracks.

Songs like “Throughout the Years,” “A Winter’s Night” and “Bedtime Story” demonstrate Brickman’s versatility and expertise as a musician. The guitar strumming mixed with the piano throughout the tracks produces a beautiful, melodic sound.

The four bonus tracks feature singers in combination with Brickman’s piano playing. American Idol’s fifth place finalist during the seventh season, Matt Giraud, sings on the track “Thank You.” Emotion can be detected in Giraud’s soulful voice throughout the song. “Welcome Home,” which was created to honor U.S. troops arriving home from deployment, features CNN reporter Robin Meade, whose vocals have a country twang. Country singer Ty Herndon sings in “What We Believe In,” while Delta Goodrem, an Australian singer and Toronto’s Mark Masri produce the vocals on “Breathe, Dream, Pray, Love.”

Home demonstrates Brickman’s superb talents as a pianist. The tracks on the album are extremely enjoyable. The piano combined with the guitar and other instruments creates a beautiful and peaceful sound. Home’s bonus tracks, which feature skilled vocalists, provide further enjoyment for listeners.
