Imagine That

Imagine That is a pleasant, endearing film that the whole family can enjoy. The acting and the plot in this film both have a warmth and sweetness to them. For those of you who enjoy a good Eddie Murphy flick, this movie is definitely for you.

"Imagine That" tells the story of Evan Danielson, a workaholic who spends more time on his cell phone than with his daughter.

Working as a financial advisor, he is forced to compete with his colleagues inside and outside of his company. Evan is specifically fighting against his rival, Johnny Whitefeather, for a promotion. However, when he is forced to take care of his 7-year-old daughter, Olivia, he finds that her imaginary friends and fantasies are in fact predicting accurate trends that will help him get ahead at work. Unlike ever before, Evan begins to depend on his daughter for help.

Directed by Karey Kirkpatrick, the film features Eddie Murphy as Evan Danielson, Bobb'e J. Thompson as The Kid, Nicole Ari Parker as Tricia Danielson, Thomas Haden Church as Johnny Whitefeather, Yara Shahidi as Olivia Danielson, James Patrick Stuart as Mr. Pratt, and Ronny Cox as Tom Stevens.

Writers Ed Solomon and Chris Matheson have "imagined" a refreshing and creative script that will have you laughing, smiling and feeling sentimental all at once.

Eddie Murphy delivers a truly genuine and heartfelt performance as Evan Danielson. The supporting characters played by Ronny Cox, Martin Sheen, Mel Harris, and Bruce McGill will also entertain you to the fullest.

"Imagine That" is a sweet script that anyone of any age will enjoy.
