It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia: Season 3

DVD review of third season

It's Seinfeld . . . On Crack. No tagline has captured the essence of a program quite so succinctly as it does with It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

The gang is back with their third season of offensive and dangerous antics which include the discovery of a dumpster baby, vigilante justice and, "dancing their asses off." The seemingly simple scenario of four friends working at a crummy bar has elevated the possible mundane to the absolute manic.

This season doesn't disappoint and doesn't stray away from the outrage produced during seasons one and two. Danny DeVito continues to lend his comedic genius to the show as Frank, the non-genetic father of characters Dennis and Dee, and the probable genetic father of the misfit, Charlie.

Unfortunately, die hard fans of special features are out of luck as the bonus material is quite sparse, including commentary on only two episodes.

The fourth season of Sunny currently airs on FX, Thursdays at 10 Eastern, in two part segments.
