Life Goes On

Sean Ottley

Whine, whine and more whine! No... not a craving for alcohol, just the emotions oozing from Terri Clark's Life Goes On.

My relationship with Country music is very love or hate, and I just didn't have a smile on my face during this lackluster album. Terri Clark deserves some respect for being one of the few country performers to be an accomplished guitar player, but this is not enough to win everyone over... and certainly not enough to convince me.Honky Tonk Song, I Wish He'd Been Drinkin' Whiskey and Damn Right (I'm Gonna Miss You) are not unusual names for the famed Southern music genre. And these songs are sung with passion, as Clark convinces you "I swore I'll never give him up, back in my cowboy boots."

This album will blend in down South like a haystack in a farmers field, and will be forgotten quick... Clark is very lucky that Life Goes On.
