My open heart allowed the sweet vocals of Martha Wainwright to seep into my body and ease my aching limbs. It was really this significant. I don't know if she caught me in an inopportune time to defend myself from her charm or if she is usually this potent, either way I became obsessed with her piercing voice.

Even though Wainwright is categorized under the term Country, I never once lose sight of her importance and lyrical talents... despite my Country disdain. She has this genuine abandon for stating the truth and will not hold back if what she feels needs to be publicly painted. For that I have nothing but admiration.
