Maya Azucena’s ‘Cry Love’

Cry Love is the third album put out by Azucena and it does not disappoint.

She depicts everything that is R&B with this one. The over the top rifts, brass, and piano are the perfect sidekicks to her beautiful, soulful vocals. There is no way one can listen to these grooves and not feel the upbeat vibe.

Every song brings something different. The first track, “Cry Love,” will take you back to the huge hit dropped by Baby Bash, “Sugar How You Get So Fly.” By the time you make it to the seventh track, “Warriors,” you won’t know what hit you.

The speakers blare smooth electric guitar along with her voice singing, “Warriors come out to play, warriors come out to play!” It is the climax of the album and I can’t stop listening to it.
