Memories of a Munchkin

Michael
The only book about

What can be said? This book comes from a point of view of a worker who participated in the making of The 'Wizard of Oz,' the premiere movie classic. Not just any worker, but from the point of view of the town Coroner!

Meinhardt Raabe opens his life story and shows how it intersected with the movie. This is a great theater history of the time period with the, until then, 'accepted' discrimination against little people with limited work opportunities. Then along comes the movie about Oz. A successful play from a successful book deserves a successful movie, and this movie would help change lives and how little people would be eventually treated in the business world. Not an easy life, not an easy book to write, but for someone who loves classic movies, this will fill an historical and social gap
