Nanoblock from Ohio Art

Ohio Art’s latest product line, the nanoblock, has quickly become one of the most sought after toy products on the market today and is likely to be a big seller during this holiday season. Now that the nanoblock sets will be available in Toys ‘R’ Us and specialty stores across the country, they will be much easier to get for your older child.

The nanoblock has been a huge hit in Japan for years and thanks to Ohio Art, the makers of the Etch A Sketch, have brought it to the U.S. for our children to enjoy. It has already gained critical praise and named the Best Construction Toy of the Year by the American Specialty Toy Retailing Association, an award well deserved.

For this holiday season, the company plans on having 22 different sets available, although there are two different collections currently on store shelves. There are six sets in the ‘mini series’ and three in the ‘Sites to See’ series, which includes world landmarks from the Taj Mahal to the Eiffel Tower.

The ‘Sites to See’ series has been a big hit, thanks to being able to replicate landmarks to the tiniest detail. With over 200 pieces, children 12 or older can create small versions of landmarks that fit in their hands, but do not compromise incredible detail.

These are also perfect for adult building enthusiasts and aspiring architects who want to learn what it takes to build a structure, even on a small scale.
