When Danielle Montgomery goes missing on a school trip you are instantly engaged. Then the book jumps six months and you meet Rebecca Montgomery a homicide detective and Danielle's older sister.
Rebecca feels that the detective in charge isn't doing enough to find out what happen to her sister, or where her body might be. So her Lieutenant moves her from homicide to Cold Cases, where she is thrown head first into the murder of a young girl who's body was found inside a wall of a burning theater. So when Rebecca meets the sexy and mysterious Diego Galvan, and find out he works for one of her prime suspects, she tries to remind herself that the chemistry she feels for Diego isn't right. That is until all of a sudden she is pulled of cold cases and sent on a couple weeks vacation thanks to the FBI agent taking over her case.
Rebecca starts to wonder if Diego might be undercover FBI. She continues her search for answer in both Danielle's and now the girl whose body was found in the wall. Being a woman her emotions are right on her self as she interviews suspects, that lead her deeper into a dark and terrifying life she never could never expect.
This story is amazingly well written, emotions feel real and you can see the characters and scenes almost as if it was truly a movie. This book keeps you guessing and hanging onto every word of the author writes, with twists, turns, romance, and murder you just cant stop reading.
The end will leave you breathless and shocked and asking if you really read what you just read. It's purely amazing. A great read for anyone who enjoys romance, with a little bit of trouble wrapped into one.
