Grantham Road's "Parade" is a rock album at heart. At times, it has sort of an old school rock sound. This album has the type of songs you would hear on an adult alternative radio station, like the Counting Crows or Train. There are quite a few standout tracks. "Shallow" is a catchy tune that will guarantee to still be stuck in your head hours later. "Love is a Rose" almost has a country twang to it. I think I even hear the banjo. A resemblance to Jackson Browne is heard in the lead singer's voice in "Wide Awake." "Stranger" will definitely be a radio hit if chosen to be released as a single. I'd love to hear it live. If you dig the bands I mentioned above, you'll probably enjoy this album.
