P.D.L.

Sarah VonderHaar’s E.P., “P.D.L.,” consists of four pop/rock songs that showcase the singer’s skilled versatility as a musician.

“Howling at the Moon” has a bluesy tone with the instrumentals and VonderHaar’s sultry vocals. By listening to the song, you almost feel as though you’re outside at night with a full moon in the sky.

Different from the soulful-sounding “Howling at the Moon,” VonderHaar’s “What I’m Feeling About You” is an upbeat song with the finger snapping, piano and drums in the background. The chorus is catchy with VonderHaar’s melodic vocals.

“Pretty Damn Lucky” demonstrates VonderHaar’s guitar skills and her vocal range, as she moves from soprano to alto throughout the song.

“All Mine” has fun and playful lyrics, as VonderHaar’s sings cheerfully about falling in love.

VonderHaar changes the tone and style from song to song in “P.D.L.,” proving her versatility both lyrically and vocally. “P.D.L.’s” catchy songs and skilled guitar playing demonstrate VonderHaar’s talent as a musician and motivation to continue succeeding in the music industry.
