Pleasantville (1998) was a wonderful suprise from Randy Newman and one of his best works. This score gets everything right where Seabiscuit missed the mark. Pleasantville has a magic in the themes that puts a smile on your face. "New Day" is an album highlight. This soundtrack is definitely worth a revisit.
