Poison'd!

Poison, a band that has been producing music since their first album in 1986, has taken a new turn with their release Poison'd! ? all of the songs are covers.

The album covers rock classics such as "What I Like About You" (The Romantics), "We're An American Band" (Grand Funk Railroad) and "Just What I Needed" (The Cars). The covers are definitely reflective of the originals, but Poison threw their own flair into the mix as well.

Poison'd! is a fun album. Every song is a great mood-booster, including the ballads. The songs all have a happy vibe to them, and it seems like the band members had a great time creating the music.

It's fortunate that this album was released around summertime. Poison captures the feeling of the season in their music. The melodies on Poison'd! are carefree like a lazy Saturday and as animated as the sweet feeling of summertime freedom.

Even though Poison's genre of rock doesn't enjoy as much popularity today as it did when the band first formed, this album should still be well-received.
