Ransomed Dreams
Gracie Lang has her husband and children killed by a drunk driver. This and other problems that come into her life drag her down and keep her from happiness as she searches for her family's killer.
The killer stalks her and she is unaware.
Steven Kessler is an FBI Agent who has had his wife leave him with his son to raise. Bitterness is keeping him from enjoying his career, life and everything.
A British Ambassador's daughter is kidnapped and killed and the search for her killer intertwines with Gracie's problems, thus bringing Steven into Gracie's life. Gracie is a teacher at the school where Steven's son is enrolled.
This book will grip you from page one. I found myself unable to put it down. I would sit at the computer and read as the computer loaded so slowly. It was like a crime scene and watching the FBI in action. There was suspense, nail-biting scenes, and drama of all kinds.
Forgiveness is the underlying theme of this book, and moving past circumstances that would beat one down, to finding the ability to move forward with life.
As I am enduring some problems of my own and asking some of the same questions Steven and Gracie were asking, it hit home.
If you are a fan of Without a Trace, Cold Case, or CSI, there is a lot that can be found in this book. It is so alive and so steeped with action that you feel you are right in on everything.
I recommend this book to everyone.
