The Biggest Loser is four episodes in and the workouts and challenges are not getting any easier. The pressure is on after Alison revealed there will be a red line in addition to the yellow line. Anyone who loses the least percentage of body weight falls under the red line and automatically goes home without having a chance to fight for their spot in the house.
The 14 remaining contestants had their first temptation challenge: cupcakes. Each of the players had to find the cupcake with a yellow coupon on the bottom of it. The power of the coupon is a one pound advantage. However, for each week the winner holds onto the coupon, the value would go up another pound. In the end, Adam was the one who found the coupon and added an additional 1,350 unnecessary calories to his diet. Celebrity chef Curtis Stone makes a visit to the ranch to show the contestants how to make 100-calorie cupcakes.
After the challenge, Bob and Jillian take a trip to the player’s house to see what was going on. Surprisingly, the trainers are extremely nonchalant considering how many cupcakes and calories the players consumed. In previous seasons, Jillian would verbally attack any player who inhaled thousands of bad calories and would take it out on them in the gym, but this was not the case. Have Bob and Jillian become soft over the years?
At the weigh-in, once again all the girls, except for one, are under the yellow line. Sophia, who only lost two pounds, was the unlucky one who fell under the red line and was immediately sent packing. The rest of the players, with the exception of Burgandy who had an injury, need to battle for their spot on the ranch.
The players had to roll out 900 feet of carpet and run back. In the end, Elizabeth was up for elimination with Burgandy. After all was said and done, the contestants chose to send Burgandy home.
