The song “Regulators” by I Was Totally Destroying It needs to be regulated. And by “regulated” I mean banned. In fact, they did totally destroy it (the indie genre). How can this band even call themselves indie?
Released in the album Preludes in 2011, under the label Greyday Productions, “Regulators” is a horrible song. I think I may have scoffed unintentionally in the first 15 minutes of listening to it. Greyday Records, located in Portland, Oregon, must be a small little business with awful taste. I Was Totally Destroying It lacks talent. It’s like the members individually picked up random instruments and decided to play like five-year-olds, which is not attractive.
Hopefully their next album will have a better song! I think my ears are permanently damaged from listening to the racket of overpowering guitar, and lyrics that make no sense. If you thought Nicki Minaj’s raps made no sense, have her try rapping these lyrics.
