Return To Love

Sari N. Kent

An album filled with emotional songs about journeys and sensibilities is how to describe Kathy Zavada's "Return To Love." "Love Is" has piano work and lyrics like, "Love breaks my heart wide open. Love dissolves all my fears, love holds you like mother. Love will wipe all your tears." "Love Will Prevail" has a weighty tone to it with lyrics like, "There's an old man in prison/and he's praying to God with a love that doesn't cease and he knows there's compassion/. He gives what he can to the world." "One With It All" has more piano work and freeing lyrics such as, "On the breeze in the trees/I am as free as the wind, on the wings of a dove I am flying high above, nothing can keep me earth-bound." The next track is the title track and it has more of a kick to it and has lyrics like, "Can you love everyone the same.... Can you smile when its pouring rain?" "A New Reality" has meditative lyrics like, "Do you ever wonder why you're here, day to day livin' and year to year, there's got to be a purpose, a reason for life/. Evolution is calling your name." Kathy Zavada's "Return To Me" is an album filled with thought-provoking songs that will make listeners stop and contemplate the meaning of life.
