J786 has been called America’s first virtual artist due to the robotic disguise he dons while in public. He has also become noteworthy for keeping his true name secret and for donating all the money his music makes to charity. His specific contributions have been to help those seeking medical treatments and insurance. While volunteering in a Los Angeles soup kitchen, his music was heard and liked by some Hollywood celebrities who encouraged him to pursue a recording contract. J786’s music career was launched in May 13, 2010 by IAG Entertainment.
He is currently signed with Starbug Records in Los Angeles.
J786’s latest album, Rock Tonight, is now available.
All the songs have an enjoyable dance club feel to them, especially the title track. According to his website (j786.net), the song recently landed in fourth place on the Billboard Dance Charts.
“Rock Tonight” has also been added to the playlist of a radio station, WPTY, in Long Island.
All the songs on the album, however, continue to show the success he and his co-writer/singer Raatree have had in crossing styles of music.
He has already joined artists such as Usher and the Black Eyed Peas in producing club hits. If the album “Rock Tonight” is any indication, J786’s stature is certain to rise this spring.
