San Francisco Bay Jazz

Singer/ Songwriter/ Guitarist Johnny Smith got together with Mark Holzinger and Chris Justin to create the wonderful new CD "San Francisco Bay Jazz." This album is a beautiful blending of jazz, blue grass and reggae. They take some familiar songs and put a new twist on them making them seem like completely new works.

The group is from the Bay area. Johnny is a self-taught musician who dabbles in singing, instrumentals and writing. For this particular album, Johnny sings, Mark Holzinger plays the electric guitar and Chris Justin performs the bass. The album has favorites like "Fly Me to the Moon" and "I've Got You Under My Skin." Each of the selections is a beautifully performed as the last. It gives the songs a new jazz make over. I would hands down recommend this CD to everyone I know. The songs are ones you've heard before, but they are sung in such an innovative new way that you will listen over and over.
