BeBe Loudermilk is always attracting the wrong kind of man. Thrice married and divorced, her latest romantic episode involves Ryan Edward "Reddy" Millbanks, a financial consultant who takes her for nearly everything she owns.
So she bunks with her grandparents, until they kindly kick her out. The only place she has to go to is a rundown motel called The Breeze Inn. She apparently owns the place, according to her lawyer.
With the help of her best friend Weezie, an antiques expert, BeBe is determined to make the property a success. So she paints, and paints, and fixes the place up. Pretty soon she has paying customers, and finds herself falling in love with a fisherman named Harry.
When Reddy appears in Fort Lauderdale, Bebe finds herself, her Granddad, her best friend Weezie, and even Harry on a road trip, to find the jerk, and get her money back, and teach him a lesson.
I enjoyed reading this book. Apparently, it is the sequel to Savannah Blues. I haven't read the first book, but the second one sure is a must read. Anyone who likes chick lit books will love this one.
