Soul Plane

Soul Plane has to be one of the worst movies ever invented! I've never felt so strongly about any film I have watched in the past, but this movie has caused me to feel this way. The movie features many celebrities, including Snoop Dogg who plays a drug addicted pilot. The concept of the movie was so stupid that I had to pinch myself to make sure I did not make it up in a dream that I was currently having. A man named Nashawn Wade won a lawsuit after being injured on a plane and losing his pet in the accident. Instead of saving his money, he decided to create an airline with features on the plane that would be similar to being in a club. I'm all for having a good laugh from a comedy that pokes fun at stereotypes, but this was just not funny at all. I really did not laugh even once. Instead, I sat with my mouth open and tried to figure out why this movie was ever made. All the jokes that were trying to be made were pointless. Every scene was more ignorant than the one before it. It really should have just been a made-for-television movie, but even that would have been a waste of time, like it was on film. I am glad I didn't spend any money on seeing it and watched it on BET, as they played it about three times in one month. I really won't recommend anyone to go see this movie. It would really have you mad that you spent the time watching it.
