Still Love

The only decent song off the album is the first single from the band "Vanguard." This song does a nice job blending the lead singers vocals with the band to create a catchy single. The band also has a music video for the song up on their MySpace page, which is like most indie band music videos ? the band playing in front of a simple story, in this case a story of love.

However, most of the album leaves much to be desired. The band seems to always miss one thing on each song. Either it is music that overpowers the lyrics or lyrics that don't live up to phenomenal instrumentals. That should be something the band can correct in the future as they gain more experience writing and performing.

"Still Love" leaves a lot on the table, but the band does have promise in the future from some of the good moments on the CD. It would not be hard to see Jil Station gain serious commercial success on their next few albums.
