Syd matters

Two distinct musical styles in a single album give an opportunity to compare musical growth. From underground folkie to boarder line new age, Syd matters shows a variety of style and sensitivity to lyrics and music. The first "Someday we will foresee obstacles" is a sort of low light make out music (don't forget the wine and cheese" for a night in a Manhattan high-rise overlooking the rain fall on the city. The songs are that introspective. While the 2nd CD, "A whisper and a sigh" seems to be more of the ordinary folk perhaps in the Village walking the streets.
